[ Episode 10: Mind and Body ]
Countdown to death or cop-out. Please die, Makoto.
Well, that was one packed episode wasn’t it? So much pathetic displays of human existence and interaction should be accompanied by a suitable score that suggests some kind of BAD END. Almost every character had their time in this episode but the most concerning, of course, is Kotonoha. Baby girl has her lifeless eyes activated after having being dumped by scumking Makoto and brushed off by the once quiet/good girl turned to total bitch Setsuna. Did you see those knives in her home? They probably didn’t zoom in on those just for fun. I think she could probably be going down the violent path because at the end of the episode she looked about ready to slit someone’s throat.
Who’s next…ah! Setsuna, Setsuna. I once liked her because of her quiet demeanor but up to now she’s really been a, well, bitch. Seriously, who is she to dictate the feelings of another person? Advice is one thing but telling someone what, when, and how to do it is another thing. Not to mention, she’s been unnecessarily cruel to Kotonoha on numerous occasions. None of that behavior was called for. Also, did she really and reasonably think that letting Makoto sleep with her would get him to break up with Otome and stay devoted to Sekai? Me thinks she knew exactly what she was doing but yet was feeling bad. My question is, if she was feeling bad about what she was doing: WHY DO IT? *sigh* I have to admit though, she’s a smart one. She escaped Japan before something bad could happen to her.
At this point I don’t know where they’re going with this ending. There were more than a few signs pointing towards a BLOODY END in this episode and at this point I’m ready to welcome it. I mean, who doesn’t want to see this guy die?

I think Makoto is literally a dick head. He’s hardly be able to utter more than “eh” most of the time and has a really slow reaction. “What’s that? A punch?”
However, as soon as he sees a chance to sex0r he seems to brighten up in an instant and grab it. I’d say this is noteworthy because for most people it’s the other way around i.e, they stop thinking when they get horny.
I find it also hilarious that he’s wearing a pyjama. How old is he? 12?
Setsuna is going farther than Yui in Negima. I wonder if we will see a deadly catfight. I really think the bad ending hints are all tease. However, it would be awesome to be pleasantly surprised.
I think Makoto’s personality is soooooo funny. Just like Chris mentioned, Makoto is typically in sloth mode, except when it comes time to reproduce. When you think about it, this totally makes sense. In fact, it is a wonder there are not more Makotos, because in other species, this would be a real competitive advantage.

Who knows, Makoto may come full circle and land up with Kotonoha. He did blow her off, but I think she is clinging to the fact that’s it’s a conspiracy between Setsuna and Sekai. It did seem he felt really bad that he hurt her so. Speaking of Sekai, she was cool to him in ep.9. At the end, she asked Makoto if she was his girlfriend and he did not reply. Now that she saw the Otome footage, she may dump him.
He such a fool though, not thinking long term. Katsura is smart, sweet, kind, pretty, has a nice body, and is rich. She even invited him to the yacht! (What would they do when they got there, I wonder!?) Who would turn that down?
AHHH this show bothers me SOOOO much!!!its like a freakin hexagon..he does one girl,,wait not satisfied..ooh look some pretty girl she might want some sex. MAKOTO does it wit any girl that wants it or he supposingly likes. How can people be sooo calm bout this..it pushes me to no end that he hasnt got his freakin PENIS ripped off >:P
