Bleach is back on track baby!

I’m so glad that Bleach is back on track with the canon storyline. The animation was so pleasant to look at and I don’t think I remember seeing any particularly badly animated scene. Anyways, more importantly, the manga is followed pretty faithfully in this episode aside from a few parts that were switched around or little added bits such as the Orihime and Rukia training session. I particularly found Wonderwices’ behavior being animated to be absolutely hilarious. It was funny to see him acting that way in the manga but actually seeing him move around and use such a voice of being out of his mind made me throw my head back in laughter.

Luppi also made his appearance. I still don’t understand why he was promoted to Grimmjow’s former position in the Espada based on his display of power (as first-timers will be witnessing soon). I guess in a way he’s probably on the same level as Grimmjow with his two arms. I did find it annoying how they cliffhanged the episode with Ichigo about to pull down his mask. I really thought he was going to enter his Vaizard mode right at the very end and then the episode would end. Oh well, at least it’ll be in the next episode for sure…even though it’ll only last for 11 seconds which they’ll manage to stretch for who knows how many minutes.
