Hayate no Gotoku! ep. 21
[ Episode 21: Even Peter-san Has Had Enough ]
This episode was simply awesome. It took a while for this to come around though. This was one of the earlier chapters in the manga but I think the anime team did a great job with it’s placement (Hayate already knowing Nagi’s grandpa and such). The return of Eight was hilarious solely because of Shiori. In the manga I couldn’t stop laughing after she called him “oversized trash”. The same thing happened again and I ended up watching that scene at least three times during my first watch of the episode.
As far as the references go, I can’t remember the names of most but I caught Beet the Vandel Buster, Dragon Ball (again), and a reference to Michael Jackson (NagiNagiLand is a parody of NeverNeverLand as well).
