Gurren-Lagann ep. 21
[ Episode 21: You are one who must survive!]
Yoko-sensei! Kicking ass in the midst of explosions while looking sexy from beginning to end!
Yoko was most definitely the star of this episode. The flashback started off slow and tranquil but the action came in a bit before midway through the episode. After that, it was a pure adrenaline rush and Yoko was beyond all levels of cool and badass when she started shooting those Ganmen to pieces. Yoko’s return also marks the return of the Gurren-Dan in full force. Now this is what Gurren-Lagann is all about. Fighting spirit and cool-sounding speeches followed by epic ass-kicking!
It comes as no surprise that Viral is piloting the Gurren-Lagann along with Simon. They’ve more or less become comrades while in prison and especially since they sure a common enemy: The Anti-Spirals. There really is no one else who could’ve been a better candidate to be the second pilot either. It just goes to show you that Gurren-Lagann has come a long way and it is spiraling towards the finale at fullspeed. Looks like Arc-Gurren-Lagann will be in the next episode and I absolutely can’t wait to see it. The title of the episode also intrigues me “This is my last duty.”. I wonder what that could mean?

“This is my last duty” means Forehead McAsshole is gonna die.
Finally.
That would mean he’s going to redeem himself. That’d be interesting to see lol.
oooh I don’t think anything he can do will redeem him now.
At least in my eyes. Simon seems more forgiving than I am.
Rossiu will redeem his previous actions. He’s not the asshole everybody wanted to depict, he made mistakes and was too overconfident about his own judgement.
I don’t think he’ll die but if he will, I hope it will be a gar death (not as gar than Great Kamina sama though).
