[ Episode 6: The Queen's Vacation ]

This episode was much better than last week’s. It focused mostly on Agnès getting her revenge on Lishimon for destroying her village 20 years ago. It was a rather opportune time for her since the same guy was suspected of trying to overthrow Henrietta’s reign. Speaking of Henrietta, I really find it hard to believe nothing happened between her and Saito when she kissed him and took off her shirt so that they could avoid detection from the palace guards. Does Saito really have that much willpower? From the way he acts the majority of the time, it surely doesn’t seem so.

Anyway, I like that Agnès got her revenge against the old fool. I’m sure she couldn’t wait to expose him for the lowlife he was because it looked like she wanted to kill him in his home earlier in the episode. The brief fight scene was very well animated and was definitely the top highlight of the episode. Aside from that, she even managed to kiss Louise to avoid getting caught by some spy. Yeah, it’s pretty much blatant fanservice but it’s not surprising coming from this series. The next episode looks to be pretty nuts and doesn’t seem to show any plot progression. It does, however, highlight Siesta wearing a sailor uniform.
