Revive! Gurren-Dan!

Yet another excellent episode! Kittan played a big role in this episode. He regained his King Kittan and even took back Simon’s core drill. Thank goodness he survived though because for a moment it looked as if he was going to die. The biggest “oh my god that sucks hard” moment was definitely finding out that the moon is going to kill everyone underground. It’s not like I didn’t see it coming since, well, it is THE MOON we’re talking about. Something that huge crashing into the Earth would most definitely kill all living things whether they were on the surface or underground.

Seeing Simon and Viral in jail was quite funny for a while. I enjoyed seeing them fight each other and also beating the hell out of that huge chicken. That said, I’m glad to finally see Yoko has returned! Her return was definitely a great cliffhanger and now that she’s back this means that both Simon and Viral will be released and meet up with Kittan and the rest of the Gurren-Dan. I don’t know what Simon will do but he is somehow going to come up with some plan to save everyone.

Next episode is going to show us what Yoko has been up to for the past few years (among other things). Which, oddly enough, is being a teacher. That should be intriguing…
