[ Episode 16: Red Eyes, Blue Planet ]

I freaking love this show so much! Every episode manages to keep me on the literal edge of my seat. The pacing is brilliantly done and there’s no pauses of boredom. This episode even manages to throw us a cliffhanger. Keith and his people have arrived and have fired the Megido; the planet destroying weapon. Blue is the first one to act and sees the enormous blast heading towards Nazca and immediately forms a massive shield to block it. I think it’s fair to say that this upcoming battle will be Blue’s final one. He’s strongly hinted at his own demise quite a few times within the episode and the preview hints just as strongly.

Another interesting thing about this episode was that all of the infants born on Nazca fell into a coma. It seems like they’re in some cocoon-like state and if the OP is any indication (which I wouldn’t rely on too heavily…) then they should be growing up rather quickly in a short amount of time. I’m guessing they’ll be directly under Jomy in the future as his personal team. Right now though, I’m quite anxious for more Toward the Terra!
