NARUTO: Shippuuden ep. 27
[ Episode 27: The Dream That Couldn't Come True ]
Very good episode. It didn’t have the kickass Sakura action as the last episode but it does flow nicely. This episode also marks the end of Sasori. Depending on how one looks at it, in the end he ended up dying with his parents as puppets. It’s interesting to know that Chiyo was working on her reincarnation jutsu to help Sasori. Either she was working on it to resurrect him if he had ever died or she was going to use it to bring his mother and father back to life. I guess we’ll never know for sure.

[ Episode 25: Recover Reideen ]
Holy crap this episode was awesome. It started off slow but oh man did it end on a high note. However, I have to say a loud WTF at Hoshikawa being able to teleport. That. Is. AWESOME. I mean, I know her powers have evolved a bit but I didn’t know it was that far along. I’m guess though that it probably did mess up her body a bit. And also: OH SHI-! Ando got PWNED! XD I knew he wasn’t going to live for much longer but I didn’t expect him to get skewered out of no where. Also, I called Akira being a medium of sorts to Reideen since the episodes were in the single digits (I made the connections between both this show and its predecessors share with RahXephon). I’d like to know where she disappeared to this time though. It’s obvious that she somehow FADED IN Junki into Reideen but where did she go? I also hope that Hoshikawa was okay but it’s hard to figure out what she could have done. Could she have teleported herself back to Earth or did she teleport somewhere safe on the space ship?
Well, we’ll be finding out all the answers in the next and final episode. I hope that it ends with a bang.
FADE-O IN!

[ Episode 320: Everyone`s Finally Wanted! The Crew of Over Six Hundred Million ]
And so, One Piece (well after the defeat of the CP9 and burial of the Merry) is now back on track after a few one-episode fillers. As always the episode is stretched (this only used one chapter I believe) but I really didn’t feel it this time around which is surprising. The two biggest revelations in this episode is that 1) the new ship is ready and 2) everyone in the crew now has a bounty. The entire Strawhat crew is now worth over 600 million berri! When I first saw that I totally freaked out. Luffy’s bounty is of course the highest at 300 million berri with the lowest being Chopper at 50 berri (LOL). Nami’s wanted poster is by all means the sexiest yet. The newest problem though is that because of his involvement in the incident with the government, Franky now has a bounty of 44 million berri. What will the crew do to help him? Well, of course they’ll have to try and bring him along on their adventure or in other words, get him to be the newest Strawhat!
Genshiken OVA ep. 14-15

[ Episode 14: I`m from Planet Otaku ]
[ Episode 15: Then I`ll undress you! ]
Episode 14 was pretty much Madarame-focused. I actually read this chapter a few weeks ago and it was followed pretty faithfully. I think the only part I don’t recall being exactly the same is the very beginning but that could just be my memory failing me from reading the chapter so long ago. While this wasn’t the best episode/chapter Genshiken has to offer it is decent nonetheless. Seeing Madarame go nuts over buying expensive clothes is priceless as I could somewhat relate with no wanting to spurgle huge amounts of cash on one pair of pants. In the end he managed to get some pretty good threads that even Saki couldn’t dismiss as looking good. The tension between him and Saki is always a blast to see.
NARUTO: Shippuuden ep. 26
[ Episode 26: 10 Puppets VS 100 Puppets ]
What? I’m doing a Naruto: Shippuuden entry? Yup. That’s right. Actually it only took me this long because my mind finally decided to go ahead with it and post my thoughts after such an amazing episode.
I think it goes without saying that this episode was KICKASS awesome. The entire fight scene with Sakura and Chiyo versus Sasori was just so well-done that I had to rewatch those parts of the episode more than twice. Starting from the part where Sakura punched Sasori literally into pieces and then onto the ridiculously fast-paced Sakura, Chiyo+10 puppets versus. Sasori+100 puppets. Like with the manga when I first saw these scenes I felt so proud of Sakura and how much she had changed over the three-year time-skip that she instantly went up an insane amount of points in my book (granted she wasn’t ever that low). Her fighting was topnotch and easily beats the majority we’ve seen in Shippuuden so far.

[ Episode 24: Arise Gadeon ]
These final episodes have been among the best of the entire series without question. This one was no different from what was started in the previous episode. There was action all over the place. The Hayate units fighting the monster. Akira and Shiori running away from the aliens. Roxell jacking Reideen’s armlet from Ando and calling upon it. Junki finding Gadeon’s armlet and summoning it into battle. It was all present! The team up between Junki and Roxell was great but I expected something on a larger scale.
I’m also concerned about Akira. She was still on the run from those aliens after Shiori fell. I suppose she either managed to get away or she was captured. Whichever the case it’ll be revealed in the next episode since the finale is almost upon us.
