This was a great start to the arc. Amber has finally taken an active role in the plot and she and her allies do so with a bang. The details of her objective is unclear but what is clear is that Hei and November 11 are out to stop her. They also have to watch out for Maki. That boy is quite the dangerous one; being able to blow things up at will. He even managed to temporarily take out April and seemingly took out November 11. He’s most likely not dead since they didn’t show a body.

I’m quite interested in Hei and Amber’s past though. The flashback in this episode suggested that they were once former partners. Perhaps they were something more? Hei seems to be more motivated than usual, especially with the way he reacted to just hearing Amber’s name. He says he wants to be the one to kill her but I doubt he could go through with it since it seems they have more than just a past as partners (the previous OP even hinted at such).

And dammit, Amber looks so much like C.C.. I wonder if she likes pizza too?
