A decent recap? :O

I have to give it to GAINAX for being creative with this summary/recap episode. They could’ve easily just throw some clips together, change around some music, and call it a days work done but they went further than that. They did things like live-action sequences of sketches and storyboards being drawn up as well as some production notes on a few (if not all) important plot points throughout the series so far. They even did a special ED using concept art and the marvelously awesome song, happily ever after.

I quite enjoyed this episode but I can’t wait for the next episode (which is why I waited so long to blog this :P). The seven year time skip!

I remember liking the way Gainax did the Evangelion recap ep (forget the episode number), where they presented it like it was Misato being interrogated or giving a briefing on the happenings in the series so far.
