Claymore ep. 16

[ Scene 16: The Witch's Maw II ]
Riful is soooooooo cute! ^__^

This was such a great episode. Riful, who is one of my top three favorite characters, was done brilliantly by Mizuki Nana. Her playful attitude is adorable but her character isn’t limited to that simple sweet exterior. As she showed she can be quite…how shall I say this…cruel? She’s so ridiculous powerful that it makes me giddy inside when I think about her Awakened form. I can’t wait to see it animated.
Galatea also makes her return in this episode. Her ability, that of manipulating one’s Yoki, is revealed here as well and it is quite impressively done. I laughed at her comment about beauty near the end though. Reading it was funny but hearing it raised the hilarity for me. She is quite a graceful beauty but I don’t agree with her calling herself ugly in her transformed state one bit.
Next week we get to see Jean in her awakened state as seen in the preview. I always found hers to be one of the more beautiful Awakened states in the series. The next episode will be the final one of this arc and it’s sure to be the best yet!
Riful-sama!

I think we should make a drinking game for every episode where Clare gets face-planted.
Can you name the three big heads from left to right please? The Depth Dwellers I mean.
And was it just bad animation or is Galatea’s head really shaped like that? It’s not bad, just odd looking.
The three from left to right are:

And it was probably jumpy animation in regards to Galatea’s head.
