Hayata-kun goes to school to woo the girls!
That Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu reference from Rurouni Kenshin always makes me laugh until my lungs hurt LOL. The speech from Katsura was also hilarious but included some stuff that I didn’t expect to hear. She likened Hayate to these celebrities: Takuya Kimura, Odagiri Joe, Takizawa Hideaki, Orlando Bloom, and Brad Pitt. That had me rolling all around my chair. We’re also introduced to a lot of new characters (one of which includes a butler that doesn’t serve any really purpose other than to look pretty with sakura petals surrounding him and another who I swear must be the son of Ichimaru Gin from BLEACH).
The listing of Maria’s achievements were also funny yet astounding information. It makes you wonder why she’s working as a maid. I liked the little bit after the episode where Hayate mentioned that Hinagiku was the most popular character in a certain magazine. I think it’s only natural she’d be on top of the polls given her looks and personality.
