As for Claymore that don't die but are not heard from again, I believe the majority of them will make an appearance later on in the story. As Claymore are typically assigned to their own region, aside from hunting parties, it would not make sense for Clare to constantly be hanging out with other Claymore girls. That and the voice - I had imagined it to be more butch but her current voice helps plenty to dissuade that particular notion.
