Claymore ep. 15

[ Scene 15: The Witch's Maw I ]
Two new characters, two new voices that bring pleasure to one’s ears.
If only phone’s existed in the Claymore world…

Damn, this episode reminds me of just how pissed I was that Raki didn’t stay in one place until Clare eventually found him. I’m quite sure there are a lot of dangers out there aside from Youma that he could bump into. Though I suppose with a personality like his it’s impossible for him just to sit idly to wait for his precious one to arrive. Oh well.
Anyways, Jean appeared in this episode. I never expected her voice to be so sexy (I expected it somewhat but not this much). She’s in quite of a jam now though but thankfully (I wonder if that’s the right word choice lol) Clare is on her way to help out. Riful was a darling and her voice was just like I always imagined it to be; cute and adorable. I can’t wait to here more of her dialogue in the next episode. Also, Galatea is shown in the preview so you know some serious stuff is going to go down next week.

I really never liked the way Jean looked in the manga but now that she’s animated, I change my opinion on her looks slightly. That and the voice – I had imagined it to be more butch but her current voice helps plenty to dissuade that particular notion.

I know it’s a bit late, but I hope the whole introduce a half dozen characters and never see them again thing stops soon. It’d be great if Clare had some long term companions. Character relationships and interaction is important above all else and while having each arc with it’s own characters, introducing new ones all the time makes for some slow going.
Well, the point of the characters that are quickly introduced and then killed is to show how the Organization views/uses the Claymore. As for Claymore that don’t die but are not heard from again, I believe the majority of them will make an appearance later on in the story. As Claymore are typically assigned to their own region, aside from hunting parties, it would not make sense for Clare to constantly be hanging out with other Claymore girls.
