Claymore ep. 13 ~ Irene > Ophelia!

Clare, Ophelia, Irene? Oooooh!
Poor Clare. Poor Ophelia. Poor Clare because she got owned so badly in this episode that it isn’t even funny. Getting your arm sliced to nothingness sucks hard, especially when you’re so close to grabbing it and reattaching it to your body. Further lameness comes in the form of Ophelia cutting off her left hand. Seriously, why not just end it? Doing that kind of stuff is just mean. Even so, I still like Ophelia’s character. It’s just something inside of me that can’t resist psychotic women. That includes those that are so sickingly adorable and yet so evil in all things they say and do.
Now, poor Ophelia. Why? Because she got beat by someone she didn’t even know was a former Claymore let-alone a former Number Two. It was amazing to see her Rippling Sword in motion though. Unfortunately it was nothing for Irene to deflect with her Flash Sword technique. Speaking of which, she really did do a number on Ophelia. I’m guessing her attacks were mixes of slashing and stabbing. There’s no way Ophelia would’ve been out for an entire week in the forest just over some cuts. It was sad to see Ophelia so messed up (both physically and mentally) that she didn’t even seem to realize she was releasing her Yoki recklessly. Now she has become that which she hated and lusted to kill: an Awakened Being.
Anyways, I can’t wait for next week’s episode. Clare will surely start kicking ass once again but of course it won’t be easy.

Oh, that’s right. Ophelia would have been eating dirt for the entire time Clare was out of it. If she had someone there to calm her down or at least for her to kill, maybe she wouldn’t have awakened ^^;?
Irene left Ophelia out of the potential yuri-ness – of course she’d be mad.
