Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou ep. 11

[Night 11: The Dark Law Chapter - Falling Blossoms, Parting Lives]

Things are getting pretty damn awesome and yet pretty damn sad at the same time. =/

If there’s one thing that Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou consistently excelled at from the very first episode, it’s animation quality. Though, another thing would be the wonderfully scripted battles and the score that went along with them and everything else for that matter.

Anyways, it was pretty damn sad to find out that Sayo was dead all along (even though I knew that already) and even more hurtful to see her waste away because of Kodzune. Tatsuma seemed to really care for her so much that he was willing to throw himself into Kodzune’s trap just for her sake. In the end though, she managed to help Tatsuma when Kodzune was trying to kill him before she finally died. However, I think this only served to piss Tatsuma off more so that his true powers can emerge. Speaking of which, after he got sliced from Kodzune his freaking wound healed right up. What gives? Is that the power of the Golden Dragon?

We also find out about the connection that Tatsuma and Kodzune share. Their rivalry goes back many, many years. Apparently, Tatsuma (or at least his ancestors) is responsible for the death of Kodzune’s family. I’m not sure yet if that’s true or not but I suppose that’ll either be revealed in the next few episodes or even carry over into the second season. Aoi is now under the control of Kodzune and her body is now under the control of the Bodhisattva Eye which has an uber amount of power. So much so that neither Komaki, Kisaragi, or Daigo could do anything against it. They were luckily saved by Raito (I knew he’d come back sooner or later) and the two shrine maiden sisters.
