[ Episode 13: Everyone, Eat Yourselves Full]

Is that some SimonxYoko I spot there? :O

I was completely blown away with this episode. The amount of insanity that took place was just too much to bear. Yoko finally got to pilot the Gurren since Rossiu was sick. She looked pretty awesome in the pilot’s seat and I liked how the screens matched her character. The aerial battle was pure madness and I loved how the Gurren-Lagann assimilated some wings. After the fighting though, Yoko finally reveals to Simon that she had feelings for Kamina and of course Simon tells her that he already knew. I find it interesting that she took that moment to tell him such information. Could be that she’s now starting to fall for him? There’s a good chance that is the case since she witnessed him fighting Viral and could see that he can know fight on his own without anyone assisting him.

Also, Viral now wants to know more about humans. He asks the Helix King about what humans are and if they’re really inferior to beastmen. This leads to a cliffhanger (dammit >_<) but we'll probably see more on it in the next episode. I'm quite impressed with Viral's sense of honor though. Though some may think this may get him in the end I thin it's also possible that it'll probably push him towards the side of the Dai-Gurren-Dan. As for the next episode title, "Farewell, Everyone", I don't know what to think about it. We all know what happened the last time the word 'Farewell' was in the title....
