Darker than BLACK ep. 10

[ Episode 10: The Pure White Dress Stains Her Dreams with Blood...(Part 2) ]
Friendship lasts even when one party goes beyond the point of salvation…

The highlights of this episode include Hei and Wei’s awesomely animated fight and Alice’s, expected, yet tragic end. Hei is really one crafty bastard. He had Wei thinking that he was faster than he himself was and faked having his (Wei’s) blood on his arm but slicing his own arm. I still don’t know when he did that but it must’ve been too fast for even the viewer’s eyes to have seen. Oh well, I just enjoyed seeing Hei fry Wei with his electricity. As for Alice, I didn’t really expect her to survive this arc so it didn’t really come as a surprise when she died. Though, sadly it was quite a gruesome death that Misaki had to witness with her own eyes. Misaki really did think of Alice as a friend to the end but she had to recognize that she was beyond the point of salvation.

One of the things left unexplained is the crystal that Hei retrieved. The question raised is what is it for? This Organization he works for seems to be collecting a lot of things over the past few arcs and yet we don’t know why they’re doing so. We then hear the end of the episode that Wei’s body went missing at the morgue. Is he still alive or is it that whoever he worked for just doesn’t want his body in the hands of the police? We probably won’t see him again though.
