Misaki + Qipao = Oh my…

Ahh~. Finally, a Misaki-centric arc. I’ve been waiting on this for quite some time. Misaki has always been an attractive character in both appearance and personality so far and I’m glad to see that she’s finally getting some much deserved expansion on her development. Seeing Misaki in a qipao does indeed cause the heart skip a bit more than a few times, especially with the slit so high. Did I mention that she looks even prettier wish her classes removed? Anyways, we got to see some of her past which I think was pretty nice and showed just how mature she already was even in junior/high school (I wonder if that was yet another Mai Yamane song that played during that scene?). She and Alice seemed to have been good friends after the whole cigarette situation but I suppose that isn’t the full story. Alice freaked me out when she suddenly lunged at Misaki in an attempt to try and sting her with the bee she was holding. Seems like she’s gotten addicted to something else which in turn seems to affect her thinking-process or it could be that she really just wanted to kill Misaki.

As for Wei, he has a pretty messed up ability. He sprays his blood on you and causes it to explode. Ouch. No wonder he usually leaves gapping holes in his victims. I wonder what his obeisance is though…probably something to do with those stone flowers or the bees? Well, whatever the case, I can’t wait to see Hei take him on. It’ll be interesting to see how Hei will be dodging his blood, though I wonder if his coat is protective against Wei’s ability….? Probably not.
