I think this marks the first and probably the last time I laugh so hard at the beginning of a DtB episode. Seriously, I was caught off guard by seeing Mao trapped in that cat cage and unable to do anything lol.

Overall, I think this was a decent arc but probably not as good as the previous ones. Though, I have to admit that I loved the comedy and the new characters, especially Gai. We also got to see a little of how Mao’s powers work. I had a feeling that Mao’s current body wasn’t his original one but I’d like to know how he wound up inside of a cat’s body to begin with. I found it interesting how he said that he has to check in with his network from time to time to keep his consciousness inside of that cat’s body. Seems like a pain in the butt for him. I also thought the battle between Hei and Kapur could’ve lasted longer both times they met. The last time was much too short as Kapur didn’t even get a chance to use his powers.

Hopefully we get to see both Gai and his assistant again some time in the future. I wouldn’t mind seeing Arisa again either but her reappearance is probably the most unlikely. That is, unless the fragrance company is brought up again later on in the series.
