Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

Bleach ep. 129

[ BLEACH #129 ]

The mini-saga continues.

This episode was kind of hit and miss when it came to the animation. Some things were animated pretty shoddily, such as Rangiku or Toushirou’s blade at times. It was the same for the Arrancar. I thought that Rangiku’s and Toushirou’s Shikai were animated (most of the second half of the episode as well) well though so it more than balances out if you ask me.

Story-wise, things are getting interesting. The Arrancar Rangiku, Toushirou and co. are up against can control multiple forms of itself. Sure, it’s not the most original idea but it works when it needs to. It seems as if it can disguise it’s multiple parts as the souls of humans or use the forms of the souls they consume. It can be either of those or something else all together. The kid, Shouta, is still a pain in the ass in my eyes. Seriously, I don’t know why they use these type of kids in anime some times or even in stories in general. What’s worse is that he admits that he abandoned his little sister and ran away (probably from that Arrancar). One thing I’m wondering about though is if Yui has something to do with the Arrancar of this mini-arc. She’s been acting strangely ever since she was found….

Well, we’ll find out soon enough though. Only two episodes left of this mini-arc.

LOL his name is “Shouta.” Isn’t that a little bit oscure? And it was pretty obvious that Yui wasn’t exactly the real Yui. How dare Pierrot create such a character with that name. Scourge!
