Toward the Terra ep. 1-6 ~ Enter Keith! But where’s Jomy?

[ Episode 6: Station E-1077 ]
Why don’t I have a computer like Mother Eliza? >_>

So I decided to take this show out of the Digest and do it singularly. I was supposed to do it earlier but things came up and I’m sure most know how that is…. Well, you can view my thoughts on episodes 2-5 here, here, and here.
Anyways, I was quite surprised with this episode. Jomy isn’t anywhere to be found but I’m not complaining. I just find it interesting that the apparent lead character actually went an entire episode without appearing.
Anyways, Keith is a pretty cool guy. He’s much closer to the character type that I like and doesn’t have any annoying quirks about him that I can think of. One thing I can say without a doubt though is that he is more instantly likable than Jomy was since it took a few episodes for me to get used to his character. I also found it interesting that Sam and Swena are now comrades with Keith (though I guess it wasn’t that much of a surprise given the OP sequence). They’ve already formed a tight bond if this episode is any indication so I can only wonder how that’ll affect future episodes. I’m sure both Sam and Swena remember Jomy to some extent as they were all best friends but now things are different. What will happen when they eventually meet?
Also, I wonder what is in store for Keith? It seems Mother Eliza has some plans for him. I say this because at the very end of the episode she says “First phase complete”. Was the crash and purge intentional? I’m not sure but I think this “phase” of Keith’s and those incidents are very likely connected.
