Kaze no Stigma ep. 4 ~ Contractor

[ Episode 4: Contractor ]
Is there anything better than the action that’s packed into this episode? Yes, yes there is. What is it you ask? Kazuma kissing Ayano. That’s right, you heard me. Cousin on cousin lip contact!

~ Episode 6 ~
Well, well. I can’t say I didn’t see this coming. Nao getting herself messed up because of Fukunaga. She really can’t blame anyone else but herself in the beginning for letting herself fall into Fukunaga’s trap of revealing that she had no debts and that she was in Akiyama’s team. As a result of that she ended up being as equally resented as Fukunaga was by the other seven members. Oh? But what’s this? It was all apart of Fukunaga’s plan to get him and Nao to win? How truthful can that be?

~ Episode 5 ~
This show is so entertaining! Everytime I watch it I feel excited and ready to jump out of my chair. The music is always so well done and well placed that each scene jumps right out at you. This episode used all of those techniques and much more to the maximum. I totally didn’t expect Akiyama to team up with No. 15. The plan was so well thought out that I leaned extremely close to my screen just to make sure I didn’t miss one tiny bit of the explanation.

~ Episode 6: A Man in Love ~
This episode gives us a look at a time in Nadie’s life when she wasn’t a bounty hunter. She was once a waitress and seemed more timid than her current self. It’s also in this past that we learn why she thinks men can’t be trusted (which she mentioned at the beginning of the episode). I have to wonder if she feels that way towards all or if she’s just saying that….

~ Episode 5: I Don’t Get It At All! ~
And we’re back to the regular animation! Like I said I didn’t have a problem with animation in the previous episode but I do love the normal one much more. In this episode, Yoko takes most of the spotlight and the Gurren Brigade gains new members!

Exams are already here for my summer classes. They aren’t that tough but I still have to put in a good amount of effort to ace them…which I’ve mostly done already.
Anyways, I’ve decided to blog Ookiku Furikabutte fully so it most likely won’t be apart of the Isshukan anymore in the future. That said, on with the digest!

~ Episode 4: Having Multiple Faces Makes You Great!? ~
Unlike what seemed like most people, I didn’t really have any problems with the quality of the artwork in this episode. I thought of it as a different take or outlook on the Gurren Lagann universe itself to be honest. I didn’t see anything in particular to complain about. Anyways, I quite enjoyed the hilarious battle and the new characters introduced.

~ Scene 07: Marked for Death ~
This episode was off-the-scale awesome!
Words can’t begin to describe all of the things that happened. We get to meet Numbers Two through Five of the Claymores which include (in order): Priscilla, Irene, Sophia, and Noel. It was nice finally seeing them in their animated forms and even more awesome seeing them in action! Though I have to say, Priscilla has had a certain position somewhere within my mind and heart ever since I read the manga quite some time ago (also in regard to the most recent chapters that have been translated) but it’s hard to explain in words just how I feel about her.

[ Episode 1: The Kids with Glasses ]
Earlier in the season I saw a show named Dennou Coil and decided that I’ll look out for it since it looked pretty good art-wise and had an interesting name. I then further searched for information on the series and found that it was not really being hyped per se but found a lot of people that I consider to have a good head on their shoulders were eagerly anticipating the debut of this series. I’m glad that I joined them in their anticipation and I’ve been pleasantly surprised at the content of the first episode after expecting something out of the ordinary.
