[ Episode 6: The Consequences of Power ]

The title of this episode is very appropriate for the subject matter in this episode. There’s always a character that wants power and says that they can withstand the consequences no matter what they may be. Is that really true in Misao’s case?

I found it quite amusing how that strange kid was calling himself and angel and a “servant of the Lord” around the middle of the episode. Is this guy a humanoid youma or something? Since Misao was described as selling her soul to the youma I’m guessing he has to be a higher level youma or something above them. Though, it’s pretty sad that Misao gave into the temptation of youma power in the end just because she thinks Kazuma killed her brother, which he didn’t.

I was glad to finally see some development in Kirika. She’s a psychic inspector and is now working for the Kannagi clan in absence of those wind noobs who got wasted about two episodes back. I think I’m going to enjoy seeing her character around, especially since she seems to enjoying tormenting Ayano in regards to the status of her relationship with Kazuma. I’m still in the dark about how Kazuma feels about Misao. Where they more than friends in the past? Their behavior makes things seem that way but it’s nothing solid at the moment (without some flashbacks and such).

I’m not sure about what’s going to happen in the next episode but it seems as if that “Tenshi” guy is coming to collect what Misao owes to him. Kazuma looks as if he’s going to try and save her. I wonder what he has up his sleeves? And what was Ayano talking about “becoming a fabulous woman”? lol
