~ Episode 5: I Don’t Get It At All! ~

And we’re back to the regular animation! Like I said I didn’t have a problem with animation in the previous episode but I do love the normal one much more. In this episode, Yoko takes most of the spotlight and the Gurren Brigade gains new members!

Oh my lord. Yoko was so hilarious in this episode that I almost couldn’t contain my laughter. Not to mention she had a lot of fanservice moments that were sorely missing in the previous episode. This episode made me wonder about her weapon and just how painful it is to be struck by one of her bullets. Well, Kamina knows first hand about that as well as how hard she can kick.

As for our new members, the Gurren Brigade now has Rossiu, Gimmy and Darry aboard. I’m not sure what they add to the team so far but we’ll just have to wait and see just what they can do (I don’t really expect much out of Gimmy and Darry though). Rossiu is up in the air for now. He hasn’t really displayed any talents as yet. Maybe he’ll be piloting a Ganman some time in the future? Probably, probably not but it would be nice to have another pilot in the Gurren Brigade.
