Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

~ Episode 4: Having Multiple Faces Makes You Great!? ~

Unlike what seemed like most people, I didn’t really have any problems with the quality of the artwork in this episode. I thought of it as a different take or outlook on the Gurren Lagann universe itself to be honest. I didn’t see anything in particular to complain about. Anyways, I quite enjoyed the hilarious battle and the new characters introduced.

Of the new characters, my favorite is easily Kiyone. Is it because of her very ample chest? Well, I won’t deny that that is a factor but not the sole or initial one. I can’t say for sure but she just seems to be filed with so much energy despite being the oldest of the three sisters (I would’ve expected such a feeling from the youngest). Though the youngest does seem to be almost on the same level as her… Anyways, the beastmen in this episode weren’t really a threat but more like fodder/joke material. I hope to see some a few more serious battles in the future. Particularly against Viral and anyone else of the same rank among the beastmen.

There wasn’t that much Yoko fanservice in this episode but that’s okay since there’s bound to be some in future episodes. Though I’d like to see some of Kiyone as well.
