Darker than BLACK ep. 5

[Episode 5: The Red Dream of Catastrophe Vanishes into Eastern Europe (Part 1)]

[Thoughts]
Great episode and great new characters. I really like April’s design and attitude (I don’t think much of the kid though). November 11 is pretty damn cool himself, though I have to say his obseiance sucks hard compared to April’s (which has her drinking beer). Havoc…is quite the interesting woman. She seems almost…not interested in life at all. Though I do wonder what Hei and co. wants with her, or rather the Syndicate they work for. Hei obviously wants some information out of her that relates to his sister, Pai. I suppose it’s safe to say that she’s been missing for a long while.
I felt bad for Misaki in this episode though simply because she couldn’t do anything against Hei and co. when they were taking Havoc away. I’ve been wondering about Misaki for quite some time (read: since the series began) and I’d like to know her views on Contractors and everything else. She hasn’t really gotten a lot of character focus yet but she probably is the second most developed character in the series, after Hei/Li of course.
Here’s to hoping episode 6 answers a few more questions from this episode and previous ones. ^_^
