LIAR GAME ep. 3

[Episode 3]

The second round, Minority Rule, but an additional threat has appeared. Who is X?
[Thoughts]
I was so excited throughout this entire episode that I could barely contain myself! This second round of LIAR GAME is much more complex than the first and gives off a feeling of limited control available to our main characters, Nao and Shin’ichi (hmmm…I should probably just use Akiyama like Nao does). So far I like Akiyama’s plan but it’s a plan that easily be broken by either one of the teammates or the calm and collected “X”.
As for “X”, I’m really beginning to wonder who it is now. So far suspicions are being thrown on player No. 15. Granted she looks and acts in a somewhat suspicious manner but it could also be that she just naturally behaves that way. That would mean that someone else is “X” and could’ve already infiltrated the team Akiyama and Nao created. That would suck big time and really mess up the plan. I hope Akiyama has a backup plan prepared in the event that “X” somehow made it inside of the team he created otherwise he and Nao are royally screwed.
From what I gathered of the next episode preview, it seems as if Nao will lose and have to go home leaving Akiyama to continue in the second round and discover “X”’s identity. No. 15 is shown to be in the last four players remaining but I still have my doubts about her being “X” for semi-obvious reasons. Then again it’s hard to refute her being “X” since “X” is supposed to be a female and she appears to be the only female left in the game in the next episode. I can’t wait to see how all of this ends and how Akiyama plans to win his way out of the second round.

I’ve watched this episode. I feel like No15 isnt X. And perhaps someone within the team is actually manipulating the rest since for some reason they don’t freak out when they were out of the game.
I agree with you, I love the concept of the second round of Liar Game. No matter how much you plan it’s almost impossible (If not impossible) to guarantee a win. Much more mind game oriented. I wonder what tricks will be pulled out for future rounds :O
