Very awesome episode. Reideen/Junki kicked ass as usual and the Jin-Rai were actually useful! That possessed unit, Hayate, can really tear down with some speed though since it was able to get beyond 5km away from everyone. Though for some reason I was expecting a larger explosion since it was two nukes, but I guess they were watered down. I also wonder when we’ll be seeing some new stuff from Reideen. There has to be a few more techniques beyond God Sword and God Arrow I think but I guess we’ll be seeing those a little later.
On another note, I want to see more of Akira. She’s still quite mysterious and next to nothing has been revealed about her so far. Lastly, this episode would’ve gotten a perfect 10 if they had shown Hoshikawa in swimsuit.

Hmmm….while i liked this episode….i think the production team or who ever decides these things, need to cut down on the scenes when Reideen calls upon something…its drawn out waaay too long….we know the sequence…just let him call out whatever and next shot he has it…we dont need to see all that slow motion/spinning this/glowing that/ aspect….it gets tired fast…
We are in episode 8 or 9 now and we know nothing about the father…nothing about the girl…nothing about where these things are coming from and why……i am hoping this starts changing very soon or i am not gonna feel compelled to watch it anymore…*sigh*…which would be sad cause the whole thing has sooooooooooo much potential….
giving it till episode 10….
