[Thoughts]

Not as much action as last time but a lot of plot progress is present in this episode. We met a few new characters and get to see a bit more of one’s we’re already used to like Shuga. This guy seems to have good intentions but I don’t think he’s in a good position at the moment because of his naivety. I have to wonder what his role will turn out to be for the of the series.

Torogai is a pretty hilarious old woman. Her chanting “Egg, egg, egg!” was nothing short of good laughter. She’s also pretty tough with having dispatched those two assassins with such ease. I’m a little surprised to know that she’s Tanda’s master though. As for Tanda, he’s a pretty cool guy. He and Balsa seem to be the best of friends given the stories he told. Without him it seems as if Balsa would’ve been in a pretty bad condition for most of her life. Perhaps we’ll be seeing a lot of him in the future since I’m sure she’ll be entering a lot more battles from now on. After all, as awesome as Balsa is, she’s still a woman and a human.

Next episode seems to be quite interesting. It seems as if Shuga will be deciphering the ancient texts and possibly giving answers as to what exactly Chagum’s water fiend identity is.
