Adrenaline rush! Adrenaline rush! Adrenaline rush! That’s what this episode is all about! The animation was just too awesome and the music something you can definitely kick some ass to without losing a beat. Some of the best moments of this episode were the initial fight with Kamina vs. Viral and the hilarious failed gattai sequence…where of course nothing happened.

Viral is pretty badass I must say but our heroes have lots of heart. Even after a failed gattai the real thing happened. I’m not sure why but I’ll just go along with Kamina and say that it was the result of their fighting spirits that got channeled into both Ganmen to form the Gurren Lagann! Yoko helped a great deal in motivating Simon a lot in this episode too and I must say she can be pretty scary.

GAINAX just keeps impressing me more and more and I absolutely can’t wait to see much more from them as the series progresses.
