[Thoughts]
I love Nadie and Ellis together. That said, I still feel as if I’m right behind them and/or in the back seat of their jeep for the entire 20-something minutes I watch an episode. Though, I have to say LA is really starting to crack me up. On one hand this guy can be quite hilarious but on the other he has a really creepy obsession with Ellis. Does he know that stalking is illegal? Especially a young girl at that? (lol) Well, at least he helped them out somewhat in this episode. Though what Rosenburg said at the end about LA definitely weirds me out. >_>
Anyways, this approach of Nadie and Ellis running into random people and helping them out is really good. It might be formulaic to some but I like it a lot. I especially like how Nadie and Ellis stay in the forefront of the episode and don’t allow the new/episodic characters to take all of the screen-time like most other anime that uses this kind of approach usually does. Well, that didn’t really happen that much in this episode aside from the policeman they met in this episode and probably the dead guy. I wouldn’t count those obviously gay guys or LA.
Anyways, I want more El Cazador already! That said, I want to see more of Blue-Eyes in the next episode. She’s so freaking hot.
