I’ve been slacking horribly on my One Piece entries so I’ll sort of cover all of the episodes I missed. As I’m sure most of you know (those OP fans anyway), since episode 294 the majority of the CP9 has been defeated at the hands of Chopper and Franky (Chopper vs. Kumadori & Franky vs. Fukurou), Nami (Nami vs. Kalifa), Sanji (Sanji vs. Jyabura), and Zoro (Zoro vs. Kaku). The lone remaining CP9 member (aside from that idiot Spandam) is Rob Lucci who is currently still in battle with Luffy.
Which brings me to the current episodes: OP ep. 304-5. It is here that we witness Luffy finally activating and using his Gear Third! I so enjoyed watching Lucci get his ass handed to him. 
Episode 304-5 are probably the best animated episodes of the most recent episodes and with good reason as well (from what I could tell the animation was very similar to that used in One Piece Movie 6). Next episode Luffy’s going to turn into a kid again though which will make him pretty much useless until he can turn back to normal.

the last 4 minutes in episode 304 were the best animation i have ever seen in onepiece even better than onepiece movies
its the first time for onepiece to have animation which can be compared to naruto and bleach best animated episodes
