And here I thought the first episode was awesome but it just doesn’t compare to this episode. The action is as solid as ever if not better and the animation is still as sweet as in the previous episode. As for new characters, Leeron is pretty freaking funny. The guy just adds another level of funny to the series.

I found it interesting though that Kamina has already found his dad’s remains. So now I wonder what will be his motivation? Though I guess from the type of guy that he is all of it can be self-generated…. Especially now since he possesses the other half of the Gurren Lagann. Anyways, next episode is going to introduce the guy who seems to be the main villain of the story: Viral. Also, we get to see gettai! Or do we?

Lastly, you’ve got to love the Yoko fanservice.
