For a detailed summary, I suggest checking out wrex’s well written effort.

That was one amazing episode. I spent a lot of time amazed at how excellent the animation was throughout. Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful series of the spring season. The music is right on par with the animation too, creating soothing and various other atmospheres on the fly when need to be.

Barusa is an interesting main character as she isn’t your normal teenager or young adult. She’s quite a strong woman in both physical and mental capacities. I’m interested in hearing more about her reasons for being a bodyguard though as she doesn’t expand into how or exactly why she killed eight people in the past. Also, doesn’t she look sort of like a 30-ish Saya?

Both the OP and ED are very nicely done and don’t feel out of place. L’Arc-en-Ciel and Tainaka Sachi were great choices in my opinion.
