CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion Ep. 20

[Episode 20: Kyuushuu War]
[Enjoyment Value: 8.9/10] (Not enough Rakshata dammit
)
[Thoughts]
What was this thing that happened between Euphie and Suzaku? I think this is the first time I’ve felt embarrassed while watching CODE GEASS (well Nina contributed to that as well). I love Euphie and all but I just can’t accept this “confession” just yet. That was a confession right? Has it been that long enough for them to even have a strong bond of love? *Sigh* I suppose technically it doesn’t really matter “how long” two people have known each other…. It’s not that I feel specifically bad about but…nevermind I guess. Also, I really don’t know what to think of Suzaku anymore after all the revelations about him in the past few episodes. Well, at least he was somewhat cool in this episode after having entered into a temporary truce with Lelouch.
Anyways, it seems as if Shirley is about to recover her memories or at the very least recall whatever she wrote on that letter of hers (which most likely is about Lelouch being Zero and such). That reminds me, isn’t the Geass (Lelouch’s anyway) supposed to completely erase memories? So why is it that Villetta and Shirley are able to remember shards of their memory? Does it have something to do with the process not being carried out properly? Or is the level of Lelouch’s Geass so much so that he its effects are temporary? It doesn’t seem so since no one else (of those still alive anyway) seems to be experiencing any memory recovery.
C.C. was freaking awesome in this episode. Her battlesuit is just too delicious and well-designed to take one’s eyes off of. I sort of expected her to be the second pilot of the Gawain since Kallen already has her own Guren to take of. I look forward to seeing more of her and her kind, especially if it leads to finding out more about that other girl who has been flashed more than a few times. On another note, her name is apparently Show ▼

Shirley’s and Villetta’s cases are different. Villetta forgot, at first, only what she did while under LL’s control (she did get to look at him before for a little bit). The rest of her amnesia isn’t Geass related, but rather the result of gunshot+rocks.
Shirley doesn’t seem to recall anything about LL/Zero, and is confused due to the letter, precisely.
Hmm. Villetta’s case makes sense (I wonder if I forgot about that while I was typing lol). Whenever she recovers her memory lost from before her accident though, Lelouch is in trouble. :3
Suzaku certainly seems less hateable now. At least he’s admitted to his guilt more than twice about his father, though he certainly still smelled idealistic to me. =P It was good action, though, and the insert song was perfect.
I think V.V. is a boy.
