Impressions:
Wow. Just wow. I was finally able to watch the first episode of Manabi Straight! after weeks without a capable computer to play it on and I was quite impressed. The animation is godly and the humor isn’t lost in translation. The characters, especially Mei and Manabi are funny in their own special way. But dear god, I think I almost experienced an overload on loli and moe whiel watching this. It felt like I was about to pass out from all the bright colors, big pure eyes, and adorable voices and movements. Speaking of voices they’re all done nicely, especially Mei (Hirano Aya’s character). I honestly don’t know where Manabi Straight! is going into the future but I don’t think it’s going in a bad direction at all if the first episode is any indication.

Once again, they are, as i call them “Fake-loli”. They are atleast 16 years old, so they cant fit into the definition of loli which is under the age of consent (which is 13 in japan). D:
Anyway, definately the cutest show right now, but i like Hidamari more for some reason O: I think i like :3 the best.
Yeah I was aware of their “fake loli” status for some time now. It just tends to slip my mind from time to time while I’m watching an actual episode. :3
