Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru Ep. 11

Impressions:
This is the episode everyone has been waiting for. Mizuho, after 11 episodes, has been found out to be a guy by Takako. There’s a of character development for Mizuho, Mariya, and Takako throughout this episode. Though most of it is from Mariya. The flashback at the beginning helped us realize just how much Mariya cares for Mizuho and how she feels about the current situation with Takako and Mizuho.
The insert song that played during Mizuho’s and Mariya’s date was just beautiful. It played all the right notes and just the right scenes. The best part of the episode, of course, is when Mizuho saves Takako from a pair of lowlifes. It was excellently done but this scene also served for revealing that Mizuho is actually a guy (to Takako at least)! NOOOOOOOOO! Anyways, I hope Takako doesn’t take the revelation too hard in the final episode…

Summary:
Lotti is having flashbacks of her brother before he was killed by Ralph. She then gets pissed after looking at a picture with Sara in it and breaks it. Sara is busy being interrogated while the others are doing their own thing to cope with Carris’ death in the last episode. Back to Lotti who is continuing to trash her room and then manages to spot a gun. Over at the Deague ship that Ralph is stationed on, another sample is mentioned to be on the ship that Sara is on. Ralph is in his room holding a document and then suddenly starts to cough up a lot of blood.
No commentsSoukou no Strain Ep. 8 - Yet another one bites the dust

Summary:
The episode starts out with Sara going off in search of the lost Emily. She leaves so quickly that she doesn’t take her communicator. Lotti, Lavinia and everyone else decide to gather in order to search for both Sara and Emily in the massive city. Carris meets up with Sara and calms her down, telling her that he has connections throughout the city and can help her find Emily. After talking with his younger (now technically older because of lightspeed travel) they set out in search of Emily once more but before that Carris decides to take Sara out for something to eat.
1 commentMahou Sensei Negima! Haru OVA

Oh the breasts! Oh the fanservice!
It’s things like this that make me wonder what I would do if I happened to be trapped on a tropical island with 31 scantily glad girls…. And then I realize I’d probably die from some heart complications.
2 commentsHayate the Combat Butler [Manga Review]

Hayate, the God of First-class Butlers!
One of the best comedy manga currently running. Hayate the Combat Butler is drawn and written by Kenjirou Hata and is serialized in Shounen Sunday. It chronicles the life of Ayasaki Hayate who has is an unfortunate 16-year old that gets fired from his job, abandoned by his parents, sold to the mafia, and run over by a car all in one night. Hayate’s troubles, however, are just the beginning of him embarking on the road to becoming a first-class butler!
Hayate becomes a butler after saving the life of a little girl named Nagi. She happens to be a filthy rich heiress to an even greater fortune and with her come other main characters such as the ever-wise maid Maria; a model Japanese beauty and ojousama, Isumi; Nagi’s pet (and talking) tiger, Tama; and Hinagiku, a introduced later on in the series. They are just a few individuals of a diverse cast that contributes to the overall freshness and insanity of the manga.
No commentsAyakashi Ayashi Ep. 7

Impressions/Thoughts:
This episode continues on with the previous two involving Atl’s ‘friendly’ youi. Yuki and the other Ayakashi are determined to battle with the youi once more in an effort to pull out it’s ayagami. I found it interesting that when Yuki did try to pull it out a mass number of ayagami came forth. My guess is that it’s all of the names different worshipers have called it since the beginning of its existence.
No commentsNew Layout and stuff

As you can see I’ve been playing around with the layout for the past few days. Finally I’ve found something that suits the style of bloggingn that I want to adopt. This new layout (fspring w/widgets) allows for the types of previews and image sizes that I’ve been wanting for a while. Some things are still in editing but this is pretty much the new layout for KZI. Let me know what you think about it and if the font color (dark blue) should be something else.
EDIT: I’ve made a new banner for the site. I’d like your thoughts on the text placement. ![]()
