Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

The Vaizard have arrived!

Now that Bleach is back on track with manga canon, it’s time for me to start blogging it (good number to start at too)!

Thoughts:

I think the last time I’ve been this excited about Bleach was when the Soul Society arc was first starting out. That was because I knew that an awesome story was ahead and this time is no different. Although it’s been a long time since I’ve read the manga chapters this episode used from what I remember it followed it pretty closely except of course for few instances such as showing Ririn and company. Shinji is as great as I thought he’d be and somehow I figured his voice would be done justice (One Piece fans will recognize Onosaka Masaya as he was/is Spandam). The anime has captured his quirky yet creepy character style just right but I still can’t help but think of the Beatles whenever I look at him.

Personally, I can’t wait to see is Lisa in all her glory. But even though that is so I won’t foolishly spoil exactly who she is for anime-only watchers. However, she’s just a tip of all of the things I can’t wait to see. Although this episode was great the next will be even greater because of the surprise that’s in store (even though it was spoiled in the new ED…which sounds really good by the way). On a related note, I thought that Ryuuken’s entrance was handled really well. Other than that, I simply will patiently (yeah right) await the upcoming episodes while sitting on the edge of my seat. We don’t have to worry about fillers for a long while I think so like me, enjoy every second of canon material you can for the year ahead.
