Thoughts:
So far I’m impressed with this first episode. Kuu is very cute. Kyoushirou is quite the chick magnet and Setsuna is adorable and yet vicious. The animation is great and the songs were nicely done. I especially loved the OP. There were so many genres thrown together in less than 24 minutes that it was all a whirlwind for me. Of course, what captured me the most were the action sequences. Particularly when Setsuna (the blonde) came crashing through the window and the mecha battle. And, holy crap, a flying horse? Awesome!
This seems to be a pretty fun series if the first episode is any indication. All the random stuff and multiple genres thrown in makes it seem like it does take itself too seriously. And that can be a good thing in my opinion.
I can’t wait to get introduced to the other characters shown in the OP and the two girls in the episode two preview. ^^
