I mean it's not pulling any punches when it tries to be dramatic, like how they killed off Carris just when he seemed to connect with Sara. Regarding Lotti, she might be more scarred and fanatical than she let show, and when she found an outlet for all that pent up emotion she snapped. I agree that it's a bit odd that she did a complete 180 turn in her opinion of Sara just like that though.
