Red Garden Ep.6&7

Impressions:
Damn. Things in Red Garden just keep getting deeper and deeper. Episode 6 had Rachel going temporarily insane once more. But the big thing occurs at the end. All four girls get to visit their former bodies. I had to go “WTF?” more than a few times to process that. They’re told that they can one day return to those bodies and thus regain their original life. I have to wonder just how true that is though….
No commentsWildfire Report: Haruhi getting the license treatment?

So it seems now there is a rumor spreading like wildfire that Haruhi is already licensed or about to get licensed. This wildfire stems from a mysterious website that has popped up that states “The World As You Know It Is About To End” and then gives us the date of December 22, 2006. Here’s the image and link to the site:

As has been mentioned at Anime on My Mind and Ramblings of DarkMirage the html code suggests that it is a U.S. site and that there’s a possibility the company may even be Funimation. Kurogane has also made a report on the news stating that he too believes it’s a possible license announcement.
I personally think the same way as it would be an awesome Christmas present for all of us rabid Haruhi fans. We’ll find out exactly what the announcement is in T minus 4 days.

Impressions:
Ah, so wonderful. A beach date between Tsukasa and Aoba. Everything starts off well and almost-romantic. Tsukasa’s in her hot pink, very cute swimsuit and Aoba is actually managing to be like a normal boyfriend. The day couldn’t possibly go bad, right? Wrong! Everyone decided to go to the beach. In my opinion, the most notable were the principal (my god she has huge breasts) and the senseis drinking non-stop. Of course, the two lovebirds try to get away to be alone but they can’t seem to shake off everyone. They eventually run into Sayuri where Aoba starts to do dumb things again. Tsukasa manages to get him back to her but Aoba’s idiot friends come along and cause him to almost drown. Through some odd turn of events the poor fool is saved but he has to go looking for Tsukasa. In the end, I almost thought Tsukasa and Aoba were going to kiss but I should have known better. Tokimeki isn’t that nice to Aoba at all. Oh well, there’s always next time. xD

Wow. These episodes really show the suffering the girls are going through. Specifically Rachel who seems as if she’s losing it. But together they’re going through some tough times. At least Kate tried to find out who/what they’re fighting but to no avail. Also, there’s this weird guy that appeared in both episodes. He doesn’t have a name yet and he’s always talking to himself… He also appeared at the very end of episode 5 when Rachel was having a sudden chest pain. I’m not sure what his deal is but it’s possible he knows more about the situation the girls are in than they do themselves. More questions are arising now that he’s been introduced. Hope to see more of what he does but he needs to relax with using the one-liners.

Impressions:
First thing’s first, the uniform change! The new uniforms look great, especially on girls like Takako.
I like how they even altered the OP and ED animations to include the uniform change as well. This episode was mainly a character-focus on Kana who runs into trouble with the Student Council because of her ribbon. I must say, despite Takako’s unfair judgment I still love her but she didn’t really have to go so far as basically calling Kana out and telling her that the ribbon has to go. Anyways, I was glad to see Mizuho decide quickly to protect and support Kana. From there with the help of Shion and Mariya, Mizuho issues a formal concern with regards to the Student Council’s management.

Impressions:
Okay, so…Mizuho has breasts. My brain cannot compute why that is even possible. Dare I say, Mizuho looked hot trying on those swimsuits at the beginning of the episode? Man, these traps are starting to get out of hand. Anyways, the majority of this episode has Mizuho trying to avoid having to wear the school swimsuit by using the excuse of having her “period” on the scheduled days which eventually leads to Takako approaching her about the issue. The episode then shifts to a competition arising between Takako and Mariya which seemed to be triggered by Mizuho’s skipping of swimming classes but actually as deeper roots for occurring. I must say I liked the little interaction between Mizuho and Takako. The image of Takako resting in Mizuho’s lap after she collapsed was cute. MizuhoxTakako anyone?! The end of the episode had Takako and Mizuho competing in an enhanced competition or in other words, something fun that they would both enjoy. Also, is it just me or has it been set up for a while that Mizuho and Takako would begin to get closer? They are both Elder and Student Council President after all…so all that’s left is for the love to sprout!

Pretty good episode. I’m glad Mizuho got to find out more about his…err…her…his mother. Also, Sachiho is a beautiful name. I have to say that I almost fell for the whole “Ichiko ascending to heaven” bit. Something in the back of my mind told me she’d be back before the episode ended and what do you know, she’s right back at the dorms! Well she does bring a lighter mood to the dorms and story I must say so I’m glad she’s staying. I want to see more of Takako though.

Impressions:
Well now this was certainly a change of pace. Personally I thought this was a wonderful episode. All of my emotions were raging wild since the first episode and it’s about time they be alleviated some, even if it’s temporary. Sara seems to be starting to accept her new comrades even if she’s still a bit introverted. The party was an awesome idea to get everyone together and on friendly terms in my opinion. Even Sara got up to dance! But alas, the mood was killed when she was reminded of her brother and on top of that the enemy was attacking them again. Funny how they were hiding in the destroyed bridge…but then again they were lacking personnel so I guess they couldn’t detect earlier (that and they seemed to be in off-mode ever since the last battle). Thankfully, no one is hurt bad (even though Lavinia did get beat up some) and the TUMORs were destroyed with little to no trouble. And with that the party continued on! on another note, however, I’m sad to notice that the series is only 13 episodes long (I initially thought it would’ve been 26) but I suppose it’s a decent number for S-Strain to end at given the current pacing. Well, now I look forward to more juicy and plot-thick episodes (which should be after episode 7 since there will be NUDITY! XD).

Quite the insightful episode. I loved the simulation bit at the beginning of the episode. It goes to show you teamwork doesn’t come together as quickly as one would want it to be, especially when emotions are involved. Pretty much the rest of the episode had me pondering on several things. One of them being just what Ralph’s motivation is to ally himself with the Deague. Well, aside from having an extremely sexy woman to make love to every night anyways…. Another thing was concerning Sara’s current status. Will she be found out as Sara Werec soon? In some wways I hope so but I’m against it if it’ll bring her negative results (as I’m sure it probably will). The rest of the episode had me pissed at those girls for beating up on Sara. Sure, they lost friends but like Lotti said after breaking up the gangbeating, she wasn’t the only one who lost comrades in the surprise attack. Well, although it was a painful experience I hope Sara saw that she has gained some new friends who’re more than willing to look out for her. Lastly, LOL at Lavinia bringing in the artillery after the fight had already stopped. XD
