Red Garden Ep.8&9
Impressions:
Episode 8 was very…different from the others. It shows the girls getting to like each others’ company more. A much needed break from the angst and questions with no answers. It was basically a ‘feel good’ episode. All the girls got together at Claire’s place to eat together and at the end they all sang a beautiful song together. So yeah, a great episode but I have to wonder if there will be anymore like this in the future.
Holy crap. There was a bunch of information revealed in episode nine. First off, Kate finds out about the Delor family, the guys who’re experimenting with Lise’s body. I really didn’t expect anything like that to be honest. They needed the type of body that the girls currently use so that their clan can survive. Next we find out that Claire has quite a wealthy family, though that’s a minor thing I think. The surprise in this episode is when Lise wakes up from her comatose state. I felt really bad for her at the end though because it seems she has no memory and is bedridden for now. I hope nothing bad happens to her….

Well, it’s not as if anything worse can happen to Lise - she has already died and lost her memory, kind of hard to beat that, cynically speaking. I doubt she would be killed off soon, she is very important for the Delors but the way they are going to use is not going to be nice, I reckon.
And yes, episode eigth was a welcome distraction and I don’t think there is going to be another light-hearted episode like it, unless there is time for that in the case of some really happy end which is rather doubtful.
I’m wondering if Lise is going to regain her memories. But even before that I’m interested in knowing exactly what they want to do with her. Put her against her friends maybe?
