Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

This episode was, simply put, comedic relief. And it did a wonderful job at it. At the heart it was a silly school love comedy. Lelouche getting his Zero mask stolen by a cat is hilarious. What’s even more hilarious is the fact that C.C. was completely oblvious to the cat entering the house and proceeding to make noise in Lelouche’s room as the mask was being taken. For some reason, that also made her look so cute.

I also found it funny how Lelouche used his powers on two random girls so that they could forget seeing the cat run around with the Zero mask on. It was an absolute waste but it had to be done. To make things worse, Millay involves the entire school in the hunt for the cat because she thinks that it has a juicy secret of Lelouche’s (of course we know it really is a big and juicy secret). On top of that she adds in a kissing reward! However, in the end the cat loses the mask on top of a steeple(?) much to Lelouche’s relief and he eventually grabs it.

It’s good to see that Suzaku seems to be blending in at the end of the episode because of saving Lelouche from falling from the building. I’m not a fan of Suzaku at all but I don’t think he deserves to be persecuted or discriminated against while at school.

The Run-down:

- Pizza Hut supports the rebellion!
- Suzaku is now apart of the same school as Lelouche.
- Cornelia continues her heated search for Zero.
- Lelouche almost lost it all to a cat.
- Prejudice towards Suzaku but it seems to have subsided for now.
- Lelouche’s father makes a speech at Clovis’ state funeral.
- C.C. now knows the face of the man Lelouche wants to take down.
