Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

NARUTO-ナルト- 疾風伝

Well I’m sure you’re all aware of this by now… or not. If not, then this is very very important news to you Naruto anime fans. Remember two years ago when some Studio Pierrot affiliate announced the anime would continue the manga story in Spring? Apparently we all assumed it was the following Spring of ‘06. No dice. So that must mean that the bastard was referring to ‘07. Hachimachi!!!

More evidence indicating the end of fillers were leaks of Part II merchandise floating around. (And now I have to get those keychains/plushies for good measure). Anyways, a few scans from the latest Weekly Shounen Jump should explain everything, including new PS2 game based on Part II!! The anime series is getting the “Z” treatment as well. The 2.5 year timejump is now known in the anime as NARUTO: 疾風伝 with the kanji read as “Shippuu-den” which means “Hurricane Chronicles.” Of course anyone not following the manga right now has no idea what the means… =D For all the pimps, you rather stick to calling it N:HC!!! Such wonderful Thanksgiving news ain’t it? I sure as hell am very thankful for this. ^^

    -squeals- Hey, Spring 07 ain’t that far off now *__* C’mon TS! C’mon Sasuke! xD And ew, Shippuu-den? What a lousy name for the TS xD I don’t live in the US, but it must be good Thanksgiving news for you ^^

    Hey, at least they didn’t decide to call it “Naruto Z” right? :D

    That’s true. I hate DBZ and anything related to DB xDD;

  4. [...] For anyone who’s as slow as I am, this week’s Shounen Jump has officially confirmed that the fillers will end this Spring. Whether that’s Spring as in Feburary, where Spring begins in Japan, or Spring as in April, when new anime seasons usually start, is not yet clear. The Naruto we know and love will be coming back under a new name, ナルト:疾風伝< (Naruto: Shippuu-den) or Naruto: Hurricane Chronicles. I personally find the new name stupid, and am horribly reminded of DBZ and my deep hate for that series, but it apparently has something to do with what happens in the manga. I don’t read the manga unless Sasuke’s involved, so I’m utterly clueless, but I’m sure it’s interesting xD To see the scans from SJ, please check out Kita ze Inbou!, where I first saw the news ^^ Along with a bunch of TS merchandise, including a new PS2 game with TS characters, a 4th Movie, set for the summer, will also be during the TS timeline. Fillers ending…YATTA!

    Honestly, they could have called it anything, as long as they get on with the story I’m happy…

    I second the “C’mon Sasuke” above, too bad it’ll probably be another year before he appears in the show D:

    Seriously, it probably will be another year until Sasuke shows up xD But I’m still tied over after seeing the teaser of him way back in episode 202 -drools- I must’ve watched that scene a hundred times

  7. [...] Well, I’m obviously thrilled about this. Read more about it here and here and here and here and most likely any other NARUTO fan site. NARUTO Time-Skip; coming to a screen near you in Spring 2007. (edit: more specificallyFebruary 15, 2006.) Now my only question is: Does this mean the Kakashi Gaiden will also be animated? Will our Yondaime finally have a voice?! [...]

    XD ^^ Datte bayo!! i cant wait for the us to air it!!! Although, I think the name is stupid. It reminds me of my hate fot DBZ. (I think their eyes and hair is to big. Plus the whole concept)

  9. naruto kyuubi January 17th, 2007 10:40 pm

    its awesome i cant wait, but is it only going to be shown in japan or is gonna be shown in america too.

    Well it’s pretty much clear that this will have to be brought stateside sometime. It’ll just be a few freakin’ years though. ><

    I doubt it! They’ll prob replay the entire series a few times on Cartoon Network, then they’ll start the Naruto Shippuuuden episodes. It’s wayyyyyy too popular for them to not milk it for everything its worth. I wouldn’t be surprised if they even did some fillers.

    I really hope Cartoon Network doesn’t try to do that. But I agree and think they might. Naruto is huge now even where I am in Jamaica. I really hope the new episodes air here soon….the suspense if maddening.

    Its just like when people waited for Dragon Ball GT by the time it came out no one cared about it anymore i hope that doesnt happen to naruto too

  14. chloe February 3rd, 2007 9:59 pm

    what is the date that it airs???

  15. Leon February 3rd, 2007 10:44 pm

    @chloe: February 15th

    I hope CTN dies for what they did to Naruto. I have never seen a massacre so brutal. It really hurt watching X-play destroy the game franchise and the repetitive “Believe it!”

    *Shudder*

    Where did that shit even come from???? Its so fucking terrible.
