Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

Liz/Lise’s funeral is the opening act for this third venture into Red Garden. Claire, Kate, Rose and Rachel are all there but they soon catch a glimpse of the mysterious woman who told them that they had died once. Her name is Lula and apparently is a worker from a funeral home. Yeah, right. She gives the girls an odd red stone and tells them that if they bury it they’ll know the answers to some of the questions they’ve been asking themselves. They argue a bit over whether should bury it or not but is interrupted by Lula who invites them to take a ride with her to find out ‘the truth’.

When they are invited to see is the slaughter of a group of girls like themselves who have given up the will to live according to Lula. Rachel knows one of them who goes by the name of Mary. Mary gets killed by what seems to be a stronger dog-man than the one our girls had fought last episode. Rachel is pissed but can’t do a thing about what happened to her friend.

The girls decide to bury the stone and then go on with their daily routines. While waiting for a mission summon later that night the stone begins to activate. During this time the girls suddenly start to remember bits and bits of what happened the night they and Lise died. It seems as if Lise went missing and they went out to search for her. We then get to see exactly how each of them died. I was definitely speechless at this point.

I’m ready for an episode 4 as I can’t get enough of this series. The characters are so involving and the story right now just keeps on hooking me. Strangely enough, there wasn’t a song outbreak this episode though.

Next episode is going to be interesting. One of the girls are seemingly depressed and heading towards destruction. I really hope she (seems like it’ll be Kate) doesn’t die though.
