Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

So our heroines(?) are being attacked by a man who behaves like a rabid dog. Or is it really a dog disguised as a man? That thing was definitely a dog as evidenced by those whining noises and barking. However, what I do know is that Red Garden is shaping up very nicely. That and it’s a really dark and messed up series. Anyways, as the episode moves along we’re constantly shown the girls running and fighting for their lives and then shifts to them back at school, somehow telling us that they made it out of that parking lot alive. Or at least in one piece. The way they do escape, however, is amazing. Rachel somehow awakens while the dog-man is trying to kill her and super-jumps over the very tall fence of the parking lot. Wow is all I can say.

Why are they still walking around like normal and why can everyone still see them? Well according to the woman who introduced them to this entire mess they’re living on borrowed time or borrowed lives. That fact seems to suggest that Liz has died twice in my eyes but I’ll hold off my theories about her a little longer. We’re also told that they’ve been resurrected but have to complete missions like the fight they participated in. Even if they try to escape or reject the missions they are told they will surely die. It’s unfair, yes, but it looks like they’ll have to deal with it until they can resolve the situation in another way. At least they didn’t have a mission this time around and that’s a good thing because these girls really haven’t had enough time to absorb everything.

Oh, and Kate also breaks out into song yet again in this episode but this time Rachel, Rose, Claire and even the woman who seems to be responsible for the girls being alive all join in! Bring on episode 3 please!
