Kita ze Inbou! - キタぜ陰謀!

OP Sequence:

Lovely, lovely. That is what the first episode was. A lovely and wonderful conversion of the manga. I remember the first chapter clearly and justice has definitely been done in the first episode premiere. The only thing that changed was the reduction of gore somewhere in the middle of the episode that was present in the manga. It doesn’t really bother me since I was expecting some degree of censorship when I first discovered D.Gray-man was going to be animated some months back. Also, another difference between the two occured within the first few minutes of the episode where Allen got off of the train but I thought it was a nice addition.

ED Sequence:

The opening theme, INNOCENT SORROW by Abingdon School Boys, was excellent. Most probably wouldn’t love this type of sound after listening to it but I sure do. The same goes for the ending theme, SNOW KISS by NIRGILIS. Both songs match D.Gray-man perfectly in my opinion and I can’t wait for the singles.
